This policy explains how Mtima Heart Foundation uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.mtimaheartfoundation.org. It must be read with our Privacy Notice. The live cookie banner and preference centre must reflect the technologies actually deployed; this policy must be updated whenever the website or fundraising tools change.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Similar tools include local storage, pixels and software development kits. Some are necessary for the website to function; others support preferences, measurement or third-party content.

Third party services
MHF may use its website host, Fundraise Up, Stripe, PayPal, embedded media, social networks or analytics providers. These services may set their own cookies. The website administrator must maintain a current cookie inventory showing provider, cookie name, purpose, category, duration and transfer location. No non-essential tool may be activated until it appears in the inventory and the consent mechanism blocks it before choice.
Managing choices
Visitors must be offered equally prominent options to accept or reject non-essential cookies and a granular preference route. Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, but this may affect website functions. Consent records must be retained only as long as necessary to demonstrate and honour the choice.
